Travis shoots 4 under to win the Hurricane Junior Tour, Laurel Island Links Shootout. Trav came from behind shooting 32 on the back nine to win by 3 shots. Bryan Lloyd of Fernandina Beach, Florida came out hot the first round, carding a four-under par, 68, for a two shot lead over Travis Williamson of Brunswick, Georgia, whose two-under round of 70 put him in to second place in the Boys 16-19 division. Jacob Burger finishes 15th in Brickyard Collegiate.

Clemson Sophomore Jacob Burger had his top tournament as a young Tiger with rounds of 73-71 on the par 72 course and finished at even par 144, good enough for 15th place. Jacob has been one of Gale's students since his first visit to Sea Island at age 4. Clemson tied for 2nd in the Brickyard Collegiate Invitational. Travis Williamson wins SJGT at Forest Heights..

Travis Williamson of Brunswick, Georgia and Jessica Hoang of nearby North Augusta, South Carolina were crowned the overall winners at the Forest Hills Junior Classic. This event took place September 26-27 at the Forest Hills Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia. Williamson fired the only under par round of the tournament. His 142 total included a four-under par 68 in round one. Hoang, competing in the Female 12-14 division, won a playoff over the Female 15-19 champion, Carrie Metz of Carnesville, Georgia.
